Unfortunately, of the three goslings, one obviously has a problem with one of its legs and can’t walk or paddle properly. It’s already smaller than its siblings.
It’s greylags chez nous, and with three families (8+7+6 infants) on our village ponds, there’s little room for anybody else. They are not popular, especially among the mallards and moorhens. We have pointed out that the ponds down the road are bigger, but they’re not listening.
Cute!
